Professional Development Tools provides two important professional development components for education professionals:
- The web site connects education staff to up-to-date professional development materials and activities to enhance professional growth. Web based resources link education professionals to webinars, online training modules, and resources to help educators sharpen classroom and teaching skills in order to improve student learning outcomes.
- Secondly, Professional Development Tools provides a tracking system so that staff can document and record completed professional development activities. Tracking will enable participants to document professional development for professional portfolios. In addition School Corporation and building level administrators can verify teacher professional development for license renewal purposes.
All professional development activities have been reviewed by teacher trainers and education professionals to ensure their quality and rigor.
